

They have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. Edith currently lives in Antioch, California, and is married to Paul Corbin. She taught in a Montessori School in Pittsburg and later worked for the Antioch Recreation Department teaching preschool children.

Edith went on to attend Mills College in Oakland, California, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1959. She graduated from Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, California, in 1955. student of epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh and Rachel, a Doctor of Pharmacy student, also at the University of Pittsburgh.Įdith Corbin was born in Antioch, California.

They boast two daughters – Abigail, a Ph.D. Becky and her ministry partner, Sister Barbara Finch (CSJ) are co-sponsoring an interfaith peace initiative in the Pittsburgh area. Becky lives with her husband, John, the owner of a language translation service called Equality Translation Services, in a usually empty nest in Sewickley, PA. She now works as an English language tutor for Global Language Training, a language service located in Flint, Michigan. Her community ministries include His Kids, an after-school children’s program The Coraopolis Area Children’s Ministries, an inter-faith community children’s program The Eighth Day Feast, a community dinner program and Drinks on the Deck, a neighborhood fellowship group. Rebecca Mahr Cartus taught both English and Speech in the the public schools. At present, she is the owner of Motor Mouth Mahr Speaking Services ( professionally certified teacher, Rev. Cartus held church positions as a Director of Religious Education, (Shadyside Presbyterian Church The Coraopolis United Methodist Church The Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis), as a Director of Youth Ministries (The Presbyterian Church, Sewickley) and as a minister (The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Smithton). She also participated in a spiritual direction program at Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center (2011-12). Rev. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA (1977), a Master of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Pittsburgh (1982), and a Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (2006). The Reverend Rebecca Mahr Cartus (FCM) is a clergy woman ordained through the Federation of Christian Ministries (2013).
